We met Robyn about a year ago. We couldn’t meet Kyle because he wasn’t available that evening because we had two people interested in the date — and Robyn decided not to risk it and met up with us solo. Normally we would just see Kyle at our prep meeting before the wedding, but in the amazing world of social media, Kyle connected with us and we were able to get to know both of these love birds before the wedding day. Kyle also humored our ridiculous teenage son when it was requested that Kyle wear his best Jordans to the meeting. For the rest of us, a Jordan is a basketball shoe.
Robyn is a mini little person with a gigantic heart and determined spirit. Kyle is a gigantic human with a little tiny heart… Just kidding, he also has a gigantic heart!!! And he loves Robyn so much, you could see it all day long. There was so much joy and happiness at this wedding, we are just so happy that we were there. It was one of those days that 10 hours felt like nothing, because everyone was so chill!
The ceremony took place in Confederation Park in Calgary: the weather was great, the light was perfect all of which was complemented by the beautiful backdrop of Confederation Park. The Country Hills Golf Course wedding reception was awesome–good food and good times!
Thank you both, thank you families, and thank you friends! We had so much fun, and really felt like one on the gang — well two of the gang?!?!?! ha ha!
