Well, this is it folks–our last one of the season–a beautiful Fairmont Palliser Calgary wedding. Priyanka and Andrew had their ceremony in the Turner Valley Room, and the reception in the adjoining Alberta Room.
We had a great season this year. We shot through bluebird, and torrential rain days alike. So, ending the season at one of our absolute favourite locations in Calgary, The Fairmont Palliser Hotel, was a great way to cap off the season. This historic old hotel is classy beyond comparison, boasts some of the best service going, and serves up a super-tasty meal. Kudos to the great staff!
Even more than the venue, we are SUPER happy we ended the year with Priyanka and Andrew. It was a hard day for weather, and these two took it like champs. I also love the dynamic between them. Priyanka is ambitious and outgoing: she is one fierce lady. Andrew is the calm to her storm (just like Nathan and I). He is funny, chill, and loves the life of leisure. It was like hanging out with our wedding twins.
I will say–we laughed, we cried–it was such an beautiful and emotional day (especially for a girl who didn’t think she would ever get married, and a boy who changed her mind)! You can tell these two are loved greatly, and deeply, by their friends and family… and most of all, by each other.
Thank you Cathy for the great decor, and to Carina for doing an amazing job! If you’re considering a Fairmont Palliser Calgary wedding, Carina is likely the one you will talk to when looking at this venue. She doubles as your planner and coordinator for the day. What a steal of a deal!
