Sometimes in life more is more. As I have been blogging this wedding for days, struggling to post a reasonable amount of photos, I have decided to believe that in this case, for this two day wedding extravaganza, more can be more.
When Jenn and Mike emailed us about their wedding, I had just been looking up destinations for our next family holiday — set to take place at same time, and for the same destination — Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Serendipity.
Jenn and Mike so graciously accepted us, and our son, into their wedding and celebration; it not only made an impact on us, but it made a sincere impact on our son, as he spoke of one day having friends like the group surrounding Mike and Jenn (he has also decided to tryout for the school volleyball team, ha ha).
I first need to thank you both, your families and friends for welcoming us into this incredible celebration!!! Thank you for having us, and for having our son there without hesitation at all. What we learned during this wedding was that you both are so filled with love and joy, grace and kindness… I am so happy you get to have this journey together as soul mates forever and ever!!!!! Yay!
