The Lake House wedding venue is the newest addition for the Canadian Rocky Mountian Resorts group opened the Lake House a few years ago. The wedding venue is now one of our favourites because the food is amazing, the setting is beautiful, and the staff are lovely. We also have access to Lake Bonavista, which is the private resident lake beside the restaurant.
The Lake House in Calgary has some of the best wedding food and best service in town, with the cheese wrapped in fried cheese being my personal go to.
We have seen so many ceremonies at the Lake House, but the having the ceremony candle lit was such a beautiful and romantic touch. The candles lined the isle and continued on the fireplace mantle. It created a stunning look.

Bridget and Travis are two of the sweetest of people you will ever meet. They really made this day incredible just simply because they are so easy going and in love. We had such a great time with them and their hilarious group of friends. Thank you so much for having us capture these moments and thank you for being so lovely!
The wedding started in Hotel Arts for the getting ready in one of the beautiful suites and some photos inside while we waited out the rain. We headed over downtown to find some cover before going to the Lake House to prepare for the ceremony.
We hid under the Bay Arches in Calgary for some photos and luckily the rain stopped enough for us to take a walk down the street. The rest of the night was a beautiful celebration and we are very grateful that we were part of the big day, capturing these memories for you.
Thank you so much!
