Allison and Jeff had a beautiful day for their St. Mary’s Cathedral wedding in Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhood. We spent the wedding day laughing with these two. Thankfully we all have an equally inappropriate edge to our sense of humour – it makes wedding photography feel pretty easy when you are always laughing. They are a really chill and relaxed couple, and come from joyful, loving families. So it was easy to go with the flow, and capture so many beautiful memories. Jeff only told me to hurry up with the photos once, and I think that makes it a big success;)

Allison got ready for the wedding with her entire family present. This was a pleasant surprise and a first for me. I loved that she had her original crew, helping usher her onto this next leg of the journey. It was really special. Allison and Jeff’s families are really lovely, and we are so thankful that we had such a great group of people to spend the day with.

We shot our session at Lindsay Park along the Elbow River and Lake Bonavista, right next to their reception venue, The Lake House. Good times were had by all, and these two kicked off the party with about the best first dance we’ve ever seen!

Thank you both, it was an amazing wedding and thank you for having us as your wedding photographers! Yay!
