This should be the place where I describe the wedding to everyone who stumbled upon our website. But for this wedding I am writing this more as direct message to the Butterwicks. Dale, Micheline, Brett, Danny, Dave, John, Their AMAZING wives, Sara, Alyssa, Julia and Tara — plus all their families. PLUUUUUUUSSSS, Barb & Dylan, and Ashley & Chad. Hello!
This is a message for you all!
The last several years have been such a riot. We have had the honour to capture so many moments in the lives of the Butterwicks their in-laws, and the family and friends they have referred. The word thankful is not enough to describe our feelings as we photographed the last Butterwick wedding with everyone all together at the same time. Every single one of you has been so great to us over the years, I just want to thank you for letting us in, for trusting us and including us in all of these special moments.
I will admit I cried twice (tears of happiness, of course). It was the perfectly appropriate amount of tears, nothing too awkward. And Nathan cried zero times, but it doesn’t mean he cares less, ha ha. Our hearts were filled with so much joy watching all these beautiful people in one room, while Sara and Brett declared their love and commitment to each other. And this, at some point, stopped feeling like work, and just felt like we were there to celebrate with you guys.
And for Brett and Sara…. Yay!
Brett you are generous, kind, hardworking, with such a warm heart. Sara, you are strong, beautiful, intelligent, and fiercely independent. It was such a pleasure to capture this day for you both, and we wish you love and laughter as you embark on this adventure together!!! Yay!
