We have started doing some interviews for a summer intern. YIPPPPPIEEEE!

We have had a lot of emails about this over the years, and we are finally at a place where we can devote some time to helping other photographers follow their dream, build their skills (photography and business) and carve out an artistic style. This will be the beginning, we are also toying with the idea to host some workshops soon, so stay tuned. And just maybe you are the intern who can also assist in making that a reality!

Ok, lets get down to bidness.

Here is the deets, and keep in mind, we are totally flexible. The term will be two months long and start at the beginning of June.

We are looking for a personable person who can assist during photo shoots, potentially run a photo booth here and there. You are not expected to be there for every wedding in that two months period — so there is a lot of flexibility. At the end of the term you can be a third shooter for a portion of a wedding; not all, only because three can be a crowd in some rooms and parts of the wedding. You will also get to be a third shooter on a lifestyle or e-session.

We will also provide one on one monthly Q and A sessions completely devoted to you, so you can ask any questions you have about building your biz, branding, photography, and the whole shebang.

You can get your feet wet and do some good learning! yay!

The thing we are looking for aside from assisting some shoots is someone who can assist with various projects for a few hours a week. We are looking for an enthusiastic person to tackle some social media projects, blogging, marketing, etc. This is the business side of the business — and some grrrreat experience:)

As soon as I saw Christina and Nathan’s portfolio online, I knew that they were the wedding photographers I wanted to hire – and I am so glad we did. Hiring them was one of the best decisions we made throughout our whole wedding planning process. hubby and i just LOVED working with Christina and Nathan. we can’t imagine working with any other photographers. They are creative geniuses who really work with input from the bride and groom. our pictures turned out AMAZING (not that we didn’t already know that they wouldn’t because their portfolio is equally amazing). i’m not going to lie – we stalked them for quite some time and when i returned home from a business trip hubby had booed them as a surprise for me. working with Christina and Nathan is like working with old friends, they’re sweet, positive, encouraging, helpful and engaging. i absolutely cannot wait until we have more life moments to celebrate with photography because Christina (plus) Nathan will be the first ones we call.

Unique. Innovative. Fun. Edgy. These were just some of the qualities my fiancé and I were looking for in a photographer when we started researching Calgary wedding photographers. When we Googled “Calgary alternative wedding photos”, Christina and Nathan showed up in our search – and we’re so glad they did! Starting with our very first meet-and-greet, Christina and Nathan were professional but approachable. And when our engagement photo shoot arrived, the time flew by – they made it so much fun, as if we were friends just hanging out for the afternoon (albeit hanging out with a couple that took really, really awesome photos!). What’s more, my skin had broken out in a bumpy rash that week (thanks to an allergic reaction to a new skin-care product)…well, needless to say, Christina and Nathan painstakingly edited and Photoshopped each and every photo of me to make my skin look flawless. Now that’s dedication! Our wedding day is coming in less than two months, and I’m pumped for the photos we’ll get that day. Christina and Nathan understand our desire for non-traditional shots, while still ensuring that we capture the tried-and-true memorable moments on our special day. I would 100% recommend them for individuals, couples, or families seeking top-notch photography. If ever my fiancé and I start a family, I know exactly who I will be calling for maternity and baby shots! Christina and Nathan are, in my opinion, the best in the city.
